Our Summer 2016 collection
Hi and welcome to my blog! I am Clarissa Von Klum Witaya's international fashion consultant and I am working with Tong ( Witaya ) to bring you things of interest in fashion and travel as we introduce our new collections throughout the year. Summer is here, and we are hitting the road with our 2016 collection. From Milan to Morocco, Witaya shoppers are sharing their vacations and jet-setter lifestyles with us one photo at a time! We will be sharing our favorite head-to-toe looks and offering tips on how to make the most of the summer fashion trends.
This week, we meet Francesca in Milan, a stylist working for a boutique outside the city. We caught up with her at our exhibition. After a stroll through the Galleria Vittorio Emmanuele II to see the newest window displays of Versace and Prada, Francesca brought us to her favorite wine bistro, Sapori Solari. While sipping a glass of Ripasso and nibbling on their amazing, smokey local carpaccio, Francesca updated us on her business:

""Things are going great! My clients are loving the new collections. All the different shades of green and turquoise really stand up well to the colors of spring and summer. This season's colors are buttercup yellow, fiesta red, and lilac grey. And, with the off-the-shoulder look being so trendy in Italy right now, I love topping the low necklines with an intricately beaded choker, like 'Roman Fantasy.' (How appropriately named!) This, or a great pair of earrings that do double duty in adding glam to the Mediterranean casual look while keeping the focus of the eye up and away from any areas of self-consciousness further down."

II is quite possible the most beautiful shopping mall in the world! Built in the late 1800s, the glass domed arches overhead make us feel like we are walking right through an ancient Italian painting. And if that alone doesn't make us feel dwarfed by luxury, the shops' contents will! Versace, Gucci, two Prada stores, Louis Vuitton, Armani – is your wallet tingling yet? Shopping tip: July in Italy means major sales everywhere, as August is the nationally-accepted month of vacationing due to a major national holiday in the middle of the month. Store-owners do their best to clear out inventory before closing down for 2-3 weeks.
Then September brings all new fall merchandise!
